What Thin Client Is About

Thin client Efficiency Reporting System is browser based software which resides on a dedicated server. Users access the system via "thin client terminals", which really only require access to the dedicated server through the internet.

Users have full access to the Efficiency Reporting System system through the browser. This differs from traditional software installations, which require that a copy of the application be installed locally on each computer where it is to be used.

Benefits of Thin Client

There are tremendous benefits for our clients employing our thin client Efficiency Reporting System solution, as well as our other thin client applications. One huge advantage is that software upgrades become infinitely easier, since only the program on the dedicated server needs to be upgraded, and not numerous client computers. This saves time and disruption of work flow. Another advantage is the reduction in hardware needed at work stations to operate the software.
By far the most interesting advantage is the ability it gives our clients to monitor performance at remote locations and provide real time information. This view into performance just isn't possible with traditional software installations. Our customizable, open source applications allow our clients to enjoy a significantly lower cost of ownership using our thin client software systems when compared to traditional applications.

Improve manufacturing efficiency, identify process loss areas, and gauge performance of work centers, products or employees. The manufacturing efficiency reporting system provides real time and historical access to production, downtime and machine efficiency reporting.

Production is tracked in detail by job and can be summarized by equipment, date range, product, product group or any other custom defined grouping level. The reporting system is driven from production, scrap, downtime and material usage data. We can also integrate established production standards comparisons so that you can implement standards based reporting.

The system can be used manually with input from PC or RF Barcode devices and integrates with automation for automatic counting: PLCs, Photo-eyes, Label Printing etc...
