Our Technology-Is It Better?
Tuppas is one of the few ERP software providers whose production scheduling/master planning modules incorporate artificial intelligence into their offering. We are also pioneers in what we like to call "Closed Loop" manufacturing systems. "Closed Loop" systems extract production data from the shop floor and use it to automatically change production settings on the shop floor to improve production efficiency. These "smarter" manufacturing execution systems will create supply side and finished goods inventory reductions, energy use reductions, operational efficiency improvements and increase shipping efficiency.
Tuppas ERP Software Architecture
Tuppas' modules are based on a model driven architechure. With a MDA, your business model is stored in a layer separate from the user interface. As technology changes and years pass, our clients can evolve the user side of the system separately from the technical infrastructure. This ables a highly specialized system that stays perpetually new without having to recode it every 7-10 years.
Tuppas ERP Software Pricing
ERP software pricing really depends on who you are, or more specifically, how big you are. Small to mid-size businesses (those who make less than $500 million/year) can expect to pay between $20,000 and $500,000 for a package from other top vendors. Larger companies can of course expect to pay more. Most tier one vendors charge per user, or seat, on a one time basis or as a recurring fee. Tuppas systems are sold on a module basis, so that you are only paying for what you need. This is a great strategy which allows smaller companies to begin implementing a system without breaking the bank or making too many waves within an organization at one time. Tuppas module prices run between $15,000 and $60,000 per module. Most modules fall in the $15,000 to $30,000 range.
ERP Software - Is It Worth the Price?
Implementing the right system means that your business can run in real time. Employees can move faster and smarter. Customers are served better. Orders can be filled and tracked more quickly and easily, with inventory levels updated in real time. With full visibility into inventory for order promising and purchasing, you can reduce inventory levels, analyze inventory costs and collaborate with vendors more effectively. Customer complaints can be significantly reduced. Better visibility into orders, delivery, and lead times will allow you to share more timely information with your customers. The success of any implementation needs to be measured by the achievement of benefits such as the reduction in manufacturing operational costs, reduction of administrative costs, improved complete and on-time shipments and improved manufacturing schedule compliance.
The Future of ERP Software - SaaS?
Tuppas is also innovating by offering configurable hosted systems or Saas Software as a Service. Saas allows companies to move away from heavy upfront costs to a monthly subscription business model. SaaS Software-as-a-service is much faster to implement and can give customer's faster ROI. SaaS also gives a company a chance to test drive a system. Tuppas Software's SaaS systems are available on a subscription basis, so that customer's have little to no risk when compared to an upfront ERP software purchase.
