Security

The Tuppas security model allows the system administrator(s) to allow users access to all reports and screens that the system offers. The administrator can grant access to specific entry screens, reports and charts. The system also provides roles. Screens can be assigned to a role and then users can be assigned to a role. This structure makes it easy for the collect of screens to be maintained for a large collection of users.

In addition to screen level security Tuppas systems can be enabled with screen level passwords and field level security.

Data security and logging is also available on Tuppas systems for audit purposes. Data logging can be enabled allowing systems administrators to view any data change that occurred by any user. The system logs all changes to data as it occurred.

We can also compartmentalize data using data sets. A data set allows users in one group to manage their data and keeps it separated from users in other groups. This allows data from a common interface to be accessed at different locations or in different departments without exposing results across groups.
