Please note....
The following screens are all examples from applications we have developed for various customers. Every application we sell is configured to contain the screens and functionality needed for each customer. Please view the screenshots as a demonstration of our ability, with the understanding that any application you purchase from Tuppas will be configured to your exact needs.
The production scheduling planning board can be configured to your specifications, to meet your needs with a very easy to use interface. The scheduling system can be used in 3 ways.
1. You can use the APS, (Advanced Planning System) which will automatically schedule for you based on the constraints you have set up in our constraints entry screen.
2. You can configure a scheduling filter on the work center and arrange the open requirements in a manner that makes sense on that work center, then simply drop them onto our Gantt sequencing screen.
3. The 3rd mode is simply using the drag and drop capability of the schedule-sequencing screen to manually order your schedule.
Following are just some sample screenshots of a scheduling system configuration.
The Planning Board
The planning board is a scheduling board which can be configured to your requirements. Our scheduling system incorporates artificial intelligence to help you schedule your production runs.
Gannt Based Schedule Sequencing
This schedule sequencing interface is a drag and drop interface that allows you run an automated routine or manually drag and drop schedules. Demand is arranged on work centers in chronological order.
A schedule can be highlighted to show the schedule information.
The 'What If' tab on the Gannt interface shows how changes impact performance and efficiency of the overall schedule. You can see the potential impact on changeover times, labor, late production due dates and system weighting which translates to profit loss.
Production forecasting
This forecasting capability can help your organization better anticipate overall finished product needs and can be integrated with MRP (materials requirements planning) and other planning software interfaces for a more complete view of your organization's status.
MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
This functionality allows you to effectively plan and prepare for production needs. This module can be integrated with other software systems, such as SRM (supplier relationship management) applications.

Transition Constraints
There are two types of scheduling constraints which can be defined. They are "product transition" constraints and "product characteristic transition" constraints. Direct product transition constraints tell the system how difficult it is to do a product changeover from one product to another product. Product characteristic transition constraints tell the system the difficulty in changing from one product characteristic to another. (Weighting is the amount of loss either in time, materials or labor atributed to the change over from one product to another on work centers.)
Work Orders
Enter work orders or scheduling requirements here. Work instructions can be attached if desired.
Customers
The customer entry screen allows you to enter your customer information along with any customer specific information, which can be attached to work instructions or work orders. Customer data is not required to run a scheduling system.
We would be happy to guide you through an on-line telephone demo of our system at your convenience. Call 1-877-897-7902 to set up an appointment.
